Fitzwilliam Museum receives £83k from new DCMS Loneliness Fund 9 Jan 2019

The Fitzwilliam Museum will receive £83k from the new DCMS Loneliness Fund which is investing £11.5m across a range of sectors to create a more connected society. The Fitzwilliam will spend the money on an expansion of its scheme to provide 'Dancing in the Museum' for those with dementia and their care partners, as well as work with isolated older people using museum collections as a focus for conversation.
