Production and Art Installation Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced coordinator to join our Production, Design and Art Installation team in the Curatorial department at Tate Britain.

Working on multiple projects at a time, you will support both the Production Manager and Art Installation Manager. You will be scheduling installation work, supporting the research and fabrication of artwork content, coordinating the activity of specialists within the project teams.

You will bring strong organisational and clear communication skills to a team whose core function is to support curators to deliver the programme of exhibitions and displays at Tate Britain. You will be able to assess priorities and provide input to scheduling and planning. You will also be skilled at organising yourself and others in an inclusive environment and have a practical understanding of museum or gallery operation. You will have some experience of budget management and financial procedures. Showing flexibility and resilience, you’ll be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrating effective teamwork in a sometimes-complex operating environment.

We don’t accept CVs, so please complete all sections of the form, including your education and work history. Use this space to share specific examples of what you’ve done and how you work.

Tools like ChatGPT can be useful for exploring thoughts, but we ask that the words you share with us are your own. Responses that feel overly generic or artificially generated may not reflect the individuality we value—and could affect how your application is received or result in it being rejected.

Take your time. Be honest. We’re listening.
