Business Operations Officer

As a Business Operations Officer you’ll be a part of an existing team, reporting to the Senior Arts Manager – Sauchiehall Street Culture and Heritage District.
This is a new role in an expanded team to deliver the Proof of Concept phase of our National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Places programme. You’ll play an essential part in providing operational, business and administrative support to the Sauchiehall Street Culture and Heritage District team.
The project has a range of partners and stakeholders across Glasgow Life and the wider Glasgow City Council family as well as local businesses, community and culture and heritage organisations.
You will lead on all administration requirements to support the delivery of the community grants programme; shop front improvements and Heritage Artists in Communities.

Support in the management of the budget process for the programme is vital as is providing assistance to the team in marketing and communications.

• An appropriate level of qualification/training or employment experience in business and /or culture and heritage sectors.
• Ability to manage and deliver high quality work, to deadlines.

• Experience of processing and monitoring budgets and related financial activity.
