Role responsibilities:
Supporting the Retail and Admissions Manager and Deputy Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the operation at HMS Belfast.
Welcoming visitors to the museum, providing them with detailed information and consistently delivering the highest standards of customer service.
Achieving sales targets - approaching visitors and actively selling a wide range of products.
Ensuring every one of the retail and admissions assistants are delivering exceptional customer service and hitting team and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Good application of judgement and initiative in order to deal with queries and problems.
Essential criteria:
Educated to GCSE Level (A-C grade).
Proven experience of working in a ticketing environment in a busy tourist attraction/museum/gallery.
Proven experience of working in a retail environment in a busy tourist attraction/museum/gallery.
Experience of staff management for mid to large level teams.
Confidence and ability to proactively sell in very busy environments and exceed targets.
Desirable criteria:
Proficient User of EPOS and IT particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good visual merchandising skills and excellent product knowledge.
An interest in the history of Twentieth Century conflict.
