Key areas of responsibility (in order of priority):
• To coordinate the delivery of the young people programmes, maximising collaboration between teams to strengthen the Museum’s wider public programme, ensuring the Museum is at the forefront of object-based learning, both physically and digitally.
• To lead the development of a programme that includes creative opportunities for young people as well career development/insights
• To Develop relationships with organisations (locally and nationally) to expand networks and reach new young audiences.
• To maintain and nurture the Museum’s alumni network of past iterations of the Young People’s Collective. Including creating and signposting to opportunities to engage with and contribute to the wider Museum.
• Undertake the effective monitoring and evaluation of young people’s programming, with a view of constant improvement, and ensures that the programme attracts new audiences and meets all relevant visitor targets.
• To oversee the recruitment of young people (the Museum’s Young People Collective) using a mentored, peer-led approach to facilitate young people programmes.
