Project Manager - IWM Duxford Masterplan

We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to be a pivotal force in the museum's ambitious 'Transforming IWM Duxford' project. The role will be crucial in transforming the site with new experiences, exhibitions, and facilities in the coming years, and aims to create a more welcoming environment, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the rich history of the site and the compelling stories of the men and women who lived and worked there. Underpinning Transforming IWM Duxford is the need to conserve, care and showcase IWM's vast collection and estate.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Head of Masterplan, the Project Manager will provide project management of a range of different projects within the masterplan programme and support the wider research, delivery, partnership and stakeholder activities of the masterplan office. Priority tasks will include:

- Delivering the Large Object Moves programme, integrating it with the activities of Preservation, Conservation, Estates and Exhibitions teams.
- Supporting the long-term future of AirSpace as a dedicated and permanent exhibition on Cold War and Contemporary Conflict.

The ideal Project Manager will have experience of delivering complex multi-stranded activities with meticulous planning; as well as the ability to collaborate and work closely with a variety of multi-disciplinary teams.
