The position of Senior Imaging Support Technician is essential for the operational success of the Imaging Studio at the British Library/Qatar Foundation Partnership. This role demands a skilled imaging operator primarily engaged in scanner work, tasked with producing and post-processing digital images to high standards of productivity and quality. The technician ensures that studio outputs align with industry best practices and meet the technical standards of the British Library/Qatar Foundation Partnership.

The position requires profound knowledge of imaging devices and digital imaging software, experience in image quality assessment according to international standards and guidelines (e.g. ISO 19264, FADGI, Metamorfoze). The role also requires active participation in team meetings to manage tasks and drive studio enhancements.
