Hours: Full time (36 hours)
Grade: B

About the role
The Business and Intellectual Property Centre (BIPC) at the British Library exists to help aspiring entrepreneurs and established business owners take their businesses to the next level.

Get Ready for Business Growth is the BIPC’s flagship scale up provision. It is a virtual, cohort-based programme of support, comprising a mixture of workshops and 1:1s.

We are an enthusiastic team dedicated to helping our scale up businesses thrive. We are seeking a Relationship Manager to support the administration of the Get Ready for Business Growth programme, above all you will ensure a seamless and successful client journey for our businesses.

Working closely with the other Relationship Manager you will guide 12-13 businesses each through the programme every quarter; providing a central point of contact, tracking their progress, overseeing their engagement, and referring them to other support channels where appropriate.

You will also remain on hand after the formal programme of support is over, helping to engage a 700+ strong network of our programme's graduates through quarterly events and ad hoc opportunities.

The role would suit someone with both excellent interpersonal skills and a strong eye for detail. An understanding of the challenges faced by small businesses is also desirable.
