We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Workflow Development Officer to lead our Digital Workflow Team, support renewal of our workflow management tools and facilitate the continued delivery and publication of content. You should possess strong IT skills, be an effective communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities, and feel confident collaborating with individuals at all levels. You will play a key role collaborating closely with teams including Cataloguing, Imaging, Rights clearance, and Translation.
You will line manage two Digitisation Workflow Support Officers and ensure the smooth processing and delivery of digitised materials. Responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining workflow tools.
Supporting the production and delivery of Submission Information Packages (SIPs).
Driving workflow improvements, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective operation of workflow management systems.
Line management, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring workload distribution aligns with Programme goals.
Monitor, analyse, and resolve workflow issues, working closely with our Technology teams to ensure SIP tools are functional, and apply technical expertise in coding or scripting to enhance systems.
Supporting the Digital Workflow & Delivery Manager to assess business priorities, conduct operational acceptance testing, and maintain service and system metrics to drive continuous improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering accessible digital content worldwide. If you're ready to lead a dynamic team and drive impactful change, we’d love to hear from you.
