Digital Vision Project Manager

Are you a digital project manager seeking a new and exciting challenge? Do you want to work for a national museum with an internationally important collection that is embarking on an exciting new phase in its history?

The Royal Armouries is looking for an experienced and energetic digital project manager to lead on the two-year roll out of the museum’s digital engagement strategy.

As the Digital Vision Project Manager you will lead the project management on the overhaul of the museum’s digital infrastructure; the establishment of an audience relationship management framework; the devising of and embedding of a collaborative framework for Public Engagement and Collections teams to develop enriched content to accompany the Collections Online resource and the development of a ‘digital playground’ in the museum in Leeds.

You will work collaboratively and consultatively with a talented team of professionals across the museum, external partners, and volunteers to ensure the objectives of the project are met, delivered on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of managing complex digital engagement and infrastructure projects and managing consultation and stakeholder engagement.

Initially working largely from home, the post will then be based at our headquarters in Leeds. The post may involve some travel to our other sites based in London and near Portsmouth.
