Head of Infrastructure Projects Estates

You will be responsible for the delivery of infrastructure projects across both sites, ensuring all projects are statutory compliant and delivered on time and on budget, and available for the business to deliver its objectives which includes care and protection for the collections and making sure buildings are fit for purpose. You will facilitate the prioritisation of allocated resources, and management of contracted services to ensure the business is able to operate without loss of functions.

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in estates infrastructure projects leadership roles across diverse, technically complex, and high public-footfall estate portfolios. You will have significant technical estates project management experience and previously have led a technical project team in successfully delivering infrastructure projects. You will understand the challenges of driving high-quality estates infrastructure projects whilst achieving value for money.

The role calls for an individual that is highly enthusiastic, committed, and willing and able to operate at both a strategic and operational level. You will have exceptional interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to have credibility and gain confidence from a diverse range of influential stakeholders.

It is an exciting time to be joining Kew in this capacity and as a member of the Estates & Facilities senior management team to also help shape the future of Kew Estates Department.

The salary will be £52,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
