With a collection like this – one of the largest in the world – we want to make sure that we promote it to as wide an audience as possible.

About the role
Working in the media team, your role will be to assist across a wide range of communication activities promoting The National Archives and raising awareness of our collection. You will organise press events, coordinate and facilitate broadcast and documentary filming, provide new in-house video content, manage the press team inbox, produce a daily media summary and act as the first point of contact for media enquiries.
We are looking for someone with passion and initiative who can work on their own where necessary. You’ll have excellent communication skills and good organisational skills and enjoy working with and meeting new people. We need you to have some experience of working with film and video for promotion purposes and the ability to be part of a team organising events
