HR Systems Partner

Do you have experience working with integrated HR and Payroll systems? Do you have a strong customer-service and collaborative approach? The Science Museum Group is here to Inspire Futures. Our People and Culture team have a mission to build an organisation of empowered and engaged people who are passionate and proud to work here. As part of our commitment to making SMG a great place to work, we are now looking for a full time HR Systems Partner to be based at either our Bradford or York museums. The HR Systems Partner will develop our HR system (iTrent) capability to provide high-quality employee data, and will implement system and reporting improvements to enhance the employee experience. You will produce and deliver programme plans for the delivery of new modules, work with P&C colleagues to identify system capability gaps and explore opportunities to streamline existing manual processes, and develop system and process documentation, including user guides and training for users. As an expert in systems and reporting, you’ll continue to develop and advance HR reporting on an ongoing basis; propose opportunities to improve our data management, our data visualisations and refine key metrics. Joining us, you’ll have a passion for HR Information Systems and their ability to improve organisational decision-making and performance. You’ll have experience of working with integrated HR/Payroll systems, and significant experience as a System Administrator (preferably iTrent). As a key member of the Reward and Systems Team, you will be a collaborative team player, able to work to identify and influence change. You’ll have a strong customer-service focus, an analytical approach, and a good understanding of organisational needs. The Science Museum Group (SMG) is here to inspire futures. As the world’s leading group of science museums, we share our unparalleled collection spanning science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine with over five million visitors each year. Joining us as an employee, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in a world-class museum group. You’ll work in inspiring spaces within a collaborative, supportive and ‘open for all’ culture. We know work/life balance and wellbeing is crucial to our colleagues, so we offer up to 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays; BUPA medical and dental care; employee assistance programme; enhanced contributory pension; enhanced occupational sick, maternity, paternity and adoption leave; career breaks and Trade Union recognition. SMG are an equal opportunities employer and we value and celebrate diversity. We want to make sure we represent the society in which we work but recognise that the museum sector still has much work to do in this area. We welcome and encourage all applications whatever your individual background or sector, and we particularly encourage applications from applicants from marginalised or minority groups.
