Learning Programme Teacher - Zero hours (Wakehurst, West Sussex)

Wakehurst has a broad, curriculum-linked programme for visiting schools which spans Early Years, Primary and Secondary education (10,500 participants per annum). Our aim is to build, inspire and develop lifelong connections with the natural world and foster dialogue about the need for sustainable lifestyles.

We are looking for experienced and innovative educators who are educated to degree level, with proven teaching experience and a passion for outdoor learning for all. The role requires creative, organised, flexible and inspirational team players with a good knowledge of the National Curriculum across the key stages. Our teachers are expected to work across a wide age-range. We are particularly interested to hear from those with experience of KS4 and 5 science teaching.

This role is seasonal with the majority of work from March to October during school term times. See job profile for further details of qualifications and experience required.

The salary will be £26,500 per annum pro rata, depending on hours worked.
