Acting Director - Tyne and Wear Archives & Museums

Iain has been Acting Director of Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums (TWAM) since March 2010 and a member of TWAM’s Senior Management Team since 2001. He has extensive experience of leading and developing cultural services and managing major projects including Culture Shock, the world’s largest digital storytelling project and the development of the Great North Museum project. He is a Director of Audio Visual Arts North East, a Board Member of the Tyne and Wear Area Tourism Partnership and a lay member of Newcastle University’s Ethics Committee.
