Exhibitions Manager (Maternity Cover)

The National Gallery is seeking an experienced and highly organised maternity cover Exhibitions Manager to join our Exhibitions team. This is a pivotal role responsible for the successful delivery of major exhibitions within the Gallery's internationally renowned exhibition programme. Joining our Exhibitions team offers the opportunity to work with international partners, exceptional collections and some of the most significant exhibition projects in the cultural sector.

Working on multiple projects simultaneously, you will manage exhibitions from initial concept through to de-installation and, where relevant, onward tours. You will act as the central point of contact for each project, coordinating a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders including curators, designers, lenders, transport agents, partner institutions, DCMS and Arts Council England.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced exhibition or museum professional to contribute to some of the most ambitious and high-profile exhibitions in the museum and gallery sector. We are looking for candidates with excellent project management skills and a proven track record of delivering complex exhibitions.

This is a fixed-term, full-time maternity cover role for up to 12 months.
