Senior Graphic Designer (Fixed-Term Cover Contract)

We are looking for an imaginative and motivated fixed-term Senior Graphic Designer to join the Creative department to provide career break cover. The department is responsible for delivering creative, effective and accessible design solutions across a wide range of projects to a global audience, in keeping with the National Gallery’s brand values and strategic objectives. The Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role as both a highly creative designer and an inspiring manager to our team of talented graphic designers.

You will be a team player with an excellent eye for detail, a creative and innovative vision with an understanding of the importance of brand, along with strong diplomatic and communication skills.  You will demonstrate an understanding of design for museums, galleries or similar environment. You will have experience leading a small team and designing creative, visitor-focused, inclusive designs across multiple outputs including exhibition design; marketing campaigns; wayfinding; learning resources; fundraising collateral from initial concept through to delivery. 

This is a fixed-term, career break cover contract for up to 12 months.
