About us
Royal Museums Greenwich is a collection of diverse historical sites. The sites are the National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, and the Queen’s House. Each of these sites has a unique identity and a common purpose to serve our communities, through sharing our collections and expertise. We are a place to explore the sea, space, art and history, and our strategy ‘Charting Our Course’ puts people at the core of its success.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to help deliver engaging, insight-led campaigns that inspire people to visit our historic sites, discover our collections, support our work and become lifelong advocates for Royal Museums Greenwich.
Working as part of our Marketing team, you'll play a key role in planning and delivering targeted email campaigns, developing customer journeys and making the most of our CRM and audience data to grow engagement and revenue. You'll also support the Museum's exciting CRM transformation programme as we continue to develop a more personalised and data-driven approach to customer communications.
As our Email Marketing Specialist, you'll support the delivery of our email marketing programme from planning through to reporting, helping ensure every campaign reaches the right audience with the right message at the right time. You'll develop and optimise customer journeys, create audience segments, test new approaches, and use campaign insights to continually improve performance. You'll work closely with colleagues across Marketing and the wider Museum to deliver campaigns that drive ticket sales, online retail, audience engagement and brand awareness.
Alongside campaign delivery, you'll help maintain the integrity of our customer data, support integrations between our CRM and marketing platforms, and contribute to our ongoing digital transformation. You'll have experience delivering successful consumer email marketing campaigns, ideally within the cultural, heritage, museums, arts or visitor attraction sectors.
You'll be comfortable working with CRM systems and email service providers, using audience insight to build targeted campaigns and measure success through data and reporting. You're commercially minded, organised and enjoy balancing creativity with analytical thinking. If you're passionate about email marketing, love using data to improve performance, and enjoy working collaboratively in a creative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
