About the role

British Library Publishing has transformed in the last decade into one of the foremost institutional publishers of exciting, innovative, award-winning and beautifully produced trade books for the mainstream book market and heritage/gift sector.


We’re now looking for an inspired Publishing Assistant to provide administrative support for all areas of the Publishing business, with specific focus on production, editorial and content acquisition on the fiction series. This role also provides opportunities to contribute to the growth of the wider British Library Publishing programme in the UK and internationally through title development and book presentations. Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the book publishing industry is a preferred requirement for this position.


This full-time role is based in the inspiring setting of the British Library building in St Pancras.
