The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the department and our offices, as well as managing the diary of the Curatorial Head of Department. Key responsibilities include the coordination of resources, budget reporting, and minuting, as well as managing the large number of enquiries that the department receives.
The Curatorial Operations Coordinator is also responsible for organising meetings, compiling research and acquisition files for curators, identifying and prioritising Freedom of Information requests, and processing unsolicited deposits of material from the public.
Previous experience of working in a museum is not required and you do not need to have specific academic qualifications. We are looking for someone with experience of working successfully in a fast-paced environment, who is extremely organised and who possesses strong, demonstrable administrative skills.
