Our people are at the heart of National Museums Liverpool. Colleagues from across the organisation make a difference every day, creating memorable experiences for everyone and challenging expectations. We pride ourselves on being a place for everyone, but we are always aiming higher, aspiring to be representative of the communities we serve. Through our people, we are building a culture which embeds trust, respect and inclusion and an organisation in which people are engaged and empowered to enable National Museums Liverpool to evolve. You could be just the right person to join us.
We currently have the post of Connector Project Coordinator available.
Funded by Lloyd’s Register Foundation and coordinated by the International Slavery Museum, the Connector Project is developing an international network of museums, universities, cultural organisations, creative practitioners and community groups working collaboratively to explore the histories and legacies of transatlantic slavery. Through community research bursaries, collaborative events and a digital knowledge-sharing platform, the project supports communities affected by transatlantic slavery to research, document and share their histories.
Reporting to the Connector Project Manager, the Connector Project Coordinator will play a key role in the operational delivery of the programme. You will coordinate project activity across internal teams and external partners, organise meetings and collaborative events, maintain project documentation, and support the monitoring of progress against agreed timelines.
Candidates should ideally be available to start within one month of offer (due to funding).
