01937Senior Building Services Manager
This role is to support the Head of Building Services in the management of the service providers to ensure that the Estates Maintenance Contractor operates the Estates Maintenance services in accordance with the agreed contract, adheres to the KPIs, meets the Library’s objectives, ensures that the Library remains statutorily compliant and helps to provide the highest level of customer experience.
To support the Head of Building Services with contract management and re-tendering of services, as required, and with the general provision of building services to the Library, it’s staff and clients.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Contractor performance management, asset register management, auditing, critical environment management, statutory compliance relating to building services systems, risk management, health & safety, contract management and must demonstrate a commitment to continuous development to maximise potential.
Resources managed will include:
- The management of external suppliers and consultants.
Ensure the CAFM system is maintained up-to-date and accurate and ensure that FM contractor maintains the asset register.
- The management of allocated revenue and capital budgets, plus any specific project related budgets.
The ideal candidate must be a motivated individual with a proactive, flexible attitude and the ability to drive process improvements. Who is capable of confidently interacting verbally, face-to-face and via email. The ability to adapt to a situation and be flexible in providing the best possible support is essential to this role.
