About the role
You will support the Head of Research and Impact Management and work closely with colleagues across GLAM to support and develop a varied portfolio of research related projects. You will provide pre- and post-award support, including assisting with grant costings, application processes and post-award set up. You will support local research committees, administer Collaborative Doctoral Awards, and help maintain accurate records of research activity and outcomes. You will also support public engagement with research, support internal funding schemes and training events, and assist with the development of new research initiatives across GLAM.
This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37.5 hours per week.
About You
You will have a demonstrable understanding of research administration and funding within higher education or the cultural sector, alongside a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
You will bring excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines, and experience of working independently in a varied administrative role.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will also have good numeracy and IT skills, with experience of using office software and a willingness to learn new systems related to research costing and reporting.
