The Role
Working in the Marketing team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Brand, the Marketing Manager will drive income, audience engagement and brand awareness for Royal Museums Greenwich by planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across multiple media channels and onsite marketing.
Key responsibilities include managing and implementing the strategy, planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns across individual sites, special exhibitions, events and products, and ensuring all materials are in-keeping with brand identity guidelines. The role holder will develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure all Marketing needs are met, work closely with colleagues in the Marketing team to create compelling content for RMG’s website, social and digital channels, and brief creative agencies and the in-house designer on main creative and marketing materials to create striking lead creatives and marketing visuals. They will evaluate and report on campaign effectiveness and proactively recommending solutions to maximise opportunities or manage risk, and manage campaign and project budgets. The role holder will successfully line manage the Marketing designer, providing guidance, support and training and development to achieve objectives.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in planning and delivering successful consumer-facing marketing campaigns, managing external agencies, devising and developing compelling campaign content, and delivering integrated campaigns across a variety of media channels. The role holder will have excellent planning and organisational skills, and the ability to deliver multiple projects working to tight deadlines and managing and administrating budgets. They will have outstanding written communication skills, including writing accurate and compelling core copy and messaging, strong creative judgement, and the ability to build partnerships and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
This is a full time, permanent role in Band 5 - Management and Proficient Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with an additional hour to be worked as agreed upon with management. Due to the nature of the work flexibility is required in meeting the demands of the role.
Salary: £39,350 per annum
