About the role:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to both the Finance Director and the Director of Public Engagement, in a 50/50 split role.
As Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of the Directors' time, correspondence and administrative responsibilities. With no existing secretariat or administrative support in place for these roles, your contribution will be essential to the smooth running of their day-to-day operations and to the wider success of the Museum's leadership team.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the organisation, supporting two critical roles in the Museum's senior leadership and helping drive forward key strategic objectives.
Key areas of responsibility:
* Provide proactive diary and travel management for two senior leaders, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
* Support stakeholder engagement through high-quality communications and presentation materials
* Coordinate meetings and events, managing logistics and follow-up actions with care and attention
* Oversee smooth office operations including onboarding, facilities, and internal communications
* Lead on compliance and project support, including health and safety duties and year-end finance processes
