About the role
The British Library and Camden Libraries are looking to recruit a Camden Green Hub Coordinator who is passionate about climate action with creative community engagement and programming. The role will be responsible to deliver a three-year National Lottery funded ‘Green Library Hubs’ project and partnership which is designed to create 10 Green Library Hubs across UK as physical central points for climate literacy and community action.

The project offers an excellent opportunity to lead on the delivery of a large-scale project in partnership with leading sector organisations, which includes the sponsor the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) , supporting libraries to use their power and reach to inform and inspire people, build resilience in their diverse communities, and embed climate action into the everyday lives of their users.

In a joint-role with the British Library and Camden Libraries Teams, your work will focus on delivering community workshops and engagement in libraries based in Camden.

This position is split into 2.5 days within the Reference Services team at the British Library St Pancras, and 2.5 days in Camden Libraries reporting to the Head of Libraries. You will be required to outreach to various communities in Camden.
