Digital Learning Producer (Maternity Cover)

The National Gallery's Learning and National Programmes Department works in partnerships with audiences, particularly children and young people to support their learning as they in turn benefit others of all ages always with a spirit of: Creativity, Enterprise and Play; Curiosity and Wonder; Diversity and Inclusion; Kindness and Empathy; Research and Rigour.

In 2025 we opened The Roden Centre for Creative Learning. It’s one of the largest dedicated gallery learning spaces in the UK. London-based architects Lawson Ward Studio have transformed the space to support a diverse spectrum of learning needs and enable children, young people and adults to develop skills, have new experiences, and inspire others. We are looking for a talented, creative, motivated, and experienced Digital Learning Producer (maternity cover) to support the Learning and National Programmes team to continue to develop digital events and experiences in the Roden Centre for Creative Learning and to work alongside colleagues to create films in partnership with children and young people for the Centre and our Take One Picture Exhibition. The postholder will also support programmers to deliver our regular programme of online events, driving innovation and ensuring that all work is inclusive, accessible and enables people of all ages and abilities to connect virtually with the National Gallery Collection.

This is a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months, with on-site working required three days per week.
