About the role
The British Library Estates &
Facilities Management department has an interesting and rewarding
permanent vacancy for an Estates Systems Administrator. The role
is based in St Pancras, where we provide services and support for
both our sites at St Pancras, London & Boston Spa,
Yorkshire.
If you have a broad knowledge and
experience of technology systems with a general understanding of
Facilities Management. The ideal candidate must be a motivated
individual with a proactive, flexible attitude and the ability to
drive process improvements. Who is capable of confidently
interacting verbally, face-to-face and via email with all our
users. The ability to adapt to a situation and be flexible in
providing the best possible support is essential to this
role.
Experience with CAFM (MRI Evolution or
similar) systems, ensuring day to day operational functionality
and administrative understanding. Drive the implementation of
systems on site to effectively manage the integrity and
performance of all estates data, to ensure appropriate and
accurate reporting to allow for departmental decisions based upon
data.
The candidate would be able to manage multiple priorities and
meet deadlines with problem solving, diagnostic and analytical
skills. A knowledge of Microsoft 365 software with Advanced Excel
skills and strong overall IT literacy.
Training around facilities management can
be provided. You would join an exciting and vibrant team of
people that supports and encourages one another, where ideas are
shared, heard, appreciated and implemented.
