A fabulous opportunity has arisen to develop your accounting career as a Management Accountant at The National Archives based in the beautiful surroundings of Kew, Richmond.
The National Archives is the official archive and publisher for the UK government, and for England and Wales. We are the guardians of some of our most iconic national documents, dating back over 1,000 years.
Our 21st-century role is to collect and secure the future of the government record, both digital and physical, to preserve it for generations to come, and to make it as accessible and available as possible.
Based within a Financial Planning & Analysis team of 5, this role will support one of our Directorates in their activities, including: monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling and liaising with the operational Heads of Department throughout the organisation.
We're looking for someone with previous management accounts experience and some progression through the CIMA/ACCA examination levels. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, show attention to detail and be able to provide strong customer support. You will have an aspiration to develop and improve your skills -eventually to a level of Finance Business Partner.
