Masterplan Programme Coordinator

Do you have a collaborative and organised approach? Can you coordinate and keep a busy programme of works on track?
The Science Museum Group (SMG) has an ambitious Masterplan programme of capital projects in development across all its sites. The programme will transform our buildings, public spaces and facilities into welcoming and inspiring places to visit and work. Across the Group we combine a strong visitor focus with high standards of design, as embodied in Medicine: the Wellcome Galleries, and Mathematics: the Winton Gallery, the latter designed by Zaha Hadid.
To support this work, we are seeking a Programme Co-ordinator on a full time basis at the Science Museum, to provide administration and office management support to the Science Museum Masterplan programme, as well as supporting the secretariate function for Groupwide governance forums. You will be part of a small team managing a big, busy programme. The role will work closely with museum colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met and the delivery of the programme’s objectives and outputs are in line with SMG and Masterplan programmes and procedures.

Joining us, you will be highly organised in managing your own workload as well as understanding, and working between, the busy workloads of other people. You will be comfortable working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior stakeholders, and will have experience of managing diaries, organising meetings and events, and attending to the associated logistics. You will have strong attention to detail and be able to follow, and enforce, programme/ project procedures.
