Learning & Engagement Co-ordinator (Unlocking Our Sound Heritage)
This role will work with the Learning team to support the delivery of the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage (UOSH) programme. The post-holder will manage and support a range of activities including workshops, events and projects designed to support learners of all ages and abilities to engage with our sound collections. Reporting to the Learning Projects Manager, they will work closely with a number of programmers across the team, and will work with artists, curators, freelancers, sound guides, volunteers as well as participants in the programme. It will also include liaising with ten Hub partners across the UK.
Unlocking Our Sound Heritage is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This is an innovative and transformational partnership project with ten UK partners working together to digitally preserve the nation’s most at-risk and vulnerable audio collections and open them up to new audiences across the UK.
The post holder will be educated to degree standard or equivalent, with experience of delivering and co-ordinating events and activities within the educational and/or cultural sector. They will need to have excellent attention to detail in terms of planning and delivering and ability and confidence to speak with learners of all ages.
