Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £26,000 per annum
You must have demonstrable knowledge of HR functions and a detailed understanding of the employment law, policies, processes and agreements that an HR function operates within.
You will possess excellent written, oral and presentation skills and be confident in the use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access, Outlook Office 365.
Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of the Trusts HR system (CIPHR) or a similar platform.
You will need to be confident in managing staff who are responsible for payroll systems, recruitment and generic HR processes and you will hold HR competencies that include

You will work very closely with the Head of HR providing comprehensive HR support in all aspects of the employee life cycle. Your role will cover the full spectrum of HR activities with emphasis on operational and transactional support, but your day-to-day tasks will include elements of Employee Relations processes, supporting managers with recruitment, liaison and support to our Training and Development Advisor, performance and absence management and change management activities.
As an experienced HR practitioner you will be responsible for ensuring that transactional HR functions run smoothly, acting as the first point of call for support to managers and colleagues on all HR related queries. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all pay, pensions, recruitment and people related information for staff at BMT.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures, managing projects and supporting the team in other HR initiatives.
