Senior Graphic Designer
Are you an experienced Graphic Designer with a strong understanding of techniques, materials and processes for print and exhibition graphic design? Are you diplomatic and able to liaise with stakeholders to build positive working relationships?
This is a great opportunity for a talented, ambitious individual to take up a creative design and leadership role within the busy Design Studio. This is an active design role that must find new ways of interpreting the style guidelines and brand objectives through fresh, vivid and sophisticated high-quality graphic design for print and exhibitions. Furthermore, the Senior Graphic Designer will work with the Senior Creative Manager and the Head of Design to bring change to internal thinking and working practices, to strengthen the collaboration within the Studio and to raise the bar for the overall quality of design outputs.
The Design Studio is a fast-paced and varied working environment - you will need to have a flexible approach to work, be a keen problem solver, be highly proactive and confident working with colleagues across all levels of the institution. You will need excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise correctly and maintain a meticulous attention to detail.
We are looking for an individual who has their finger on the pulse of Design across disciplines and who is print and technology savvy. You will join our Studio and, through your work, champion and deliver design that is confident, evocative, useful and long-lasting.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract until August 2019.
You will be offered excellent benefits, including 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme, BUPA medical and dental care, an annual season ticket loan and numerous staff discounts whilst developing your career in a world class museum group.
