Dr Nicholas Penny

Director, National Gallery

Dr Nicholas Penny took up his appointment as the new Director of the National Gallery in February 2008.

Dr Penny worked at the Gallery between 1990 and 2000 as Clore Curator of Renaissance Painting, and from 2000 was Senior Curator of Sculpture at the National Gallery of Art in Washington.
